Description
This coffee comes from two washing stations, Nyagishiru and Busasa CWS, located in Muyinga Province in northern Burundi. The region combines high-altitude coffee production, mineral-rich volcanic soils, and anaerobic natural processing.
Nyagishiru CWS collects cherries from 12 surrounding hills, while Busasa CWS works with around 1,600 farmers. Coffees from these stations have won awards at the Cup of Excellence competition in 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2017.
