Descripción

This coffee comes from Ambera Farm in Pitalito, Huila — one of the most active specialty coffee regions in southern Colombia. The region is located between the Andes mountain ranges at an altitude of approximately 1300–1900 meters above sea level, where the cooler climate and volcanic soils support slow fruit maturation and the development of dense, high-quality coffee.

Pitalito is especially known for producers who experiment with fermentation and post-harvest processing techniques while maintaining a clean and structured flavor profile. Many farms in this region are small family-owned farms where great attention is paid to selective harvesting and manual processing.

Coffees from this region are often distinguished by their clean cup profile, pronounced sweetness, and layered fruity notes, which have made Huila one of the key origins in Colombia’s modern specialty coffee scene.
